Mountain View's Sabrina Hill and Chelsea Banglesdorf had three hits each for to help the Wildcats top Massaponax, 5-0, for a Commonwealth District victory last night.

Reihle Kash led the Panthers with two hits.

Ashley Cummings had eight strikeouts in the shutout for Mountain View (14-1-1, 9-1-1), which hosts North Stafford on Monday.

Lysuelle Slaughter threw a complete-game two-hitter, striking out five, as the Indians rolled to the win.

Katey Smith was 2-for-2 with four runs and two RBIs. Molly Bond was 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs.

Stafford (7-4-1, 9-6-1) hosts Riverbend in a Commonwealth District game on Monday.

Katelyn Mehl struck out 15 in pitching a two-hit shutout and went 3-for-4 with four runs scored for the Foxes. Mehl now has 202 strikeouts on the season.

Crystal Treet homered and Lauren Parker and Julie Catlett each had two hits for King George. Parker drove in three runs.

The Foxes (10-6, 7-4 Battlefield) host Courtland Tuesday.

Riverbend cruised to a Commonwealth District home win last night, posting seven runs in the sixth inning to run-rule visiting Albemarle.

Nicole Betts, Emily Mathis, Emily Hemmesch, Robin Ford and Devin Millhorn each had two hits for the Bears (4-10-1, 4-7-1), who visit Stafford on Monday.
