Fredericksburg-area governments announce their public meeting schedules

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

The Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Holbert Building on Courthouse Road.

STAFFORD COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the board chambers of the County Administration Building. Discussion topics include wayfinding signage and public water and sewer service fees. There are no public hearings scheduled.

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the board chambers of the County Administration Building. A work session at 5:30 p.m. precedes the regular meeting.

The Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room C of the Rowser Building.

CAROLINE COUNTY

The School Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Caroline Middle School.

KING GEORGE COUNTY

The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room of the Revercomb Administration Center.

TOWN OF ORANGE

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the town Community Center, 235 Warren St. The council will hold public hearings on requests for exemptions from real-estate taxes and amendments to the zoning ordinance and comprehensive plan.

GORDONSVILLE

The Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the Town Hall council chambers. The council will consider candidates for Town Council and the Board of Architectural Review.

CULPEPER COUNTY

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the County Administration Building, 302 N. Main St.

WESTMORELAND

The Wetlands Board meets at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the A.T. Johnson Alumni Museum, 18849 Kings Highway, Montross. The board will considers three applications to rebuild shoreline bulkheads.

COLONIAL BEACH

These Town Council committees meet Thursday at Town Center: Public Works at 3 p.m.; Budget and Finance at 4 p.m.; Economic Development at 5 p.m.; and Public Safety at 6 p.m.
