Mr. and Mrs. David Neesen of Stafford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Lynne Neesen, to Jake Edward Schupner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Schupner of Shenandoah, Va.

Lauren graduated from North Stafford High School in 2006. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology degree. She will graduate in May, 2012 from Blue Ridge Community College with her Veterinary Technology degree. She is currently employed at Heartland Veterinary Clinic in Harrisonburg, Va. Jake graduated from Page County High School in Shenandoah, Va. in 2006. He graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Music in Choral Education and in 2011 with a Master of Arts in Teaching. He is currently the Music Director at Page County Middle School in Shenandoah, Va.

A wedding is planned for June 29, 2012 in Fredericksburg, Va.
