Robert E. Lee, the general who surrendered to Ullyses S. Grant.
After about five years of fighting , the Confederate States of America finally surrendered to the Union. Two days later, all slaves were freed in the South. Some of them reunited with their family n the North. Some of them set to work building a house to live In. They are really excited about this.
