Job description: DRIVER Part-time Nights Drive our automatic transmission vans to load, deliver and unload bundles of newspapers, 25 to 30 pounds each, to drop locations within Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. CDL not required. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a good driving record. This position requires basic math skills. Must work well in a deadline-oriented and fast-paced work environment. Hours include various shifts between 11 p.m. and 10 a.m., Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work on Friday and Saturday nights. Approximately 25 hours per week. Base pay is $9.50 per hour. Employment is contingent on successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening results. Job description: Circulation District Manager The Free Lance–Star is seeking a District Manager to coordinate our newspaper circulation routes. Training, supervisory, customer service and sales experience a definite plus. Previous carrier and/or newspaper distributor experience helpful but not required. Must have a good driving record. Employment is contingent on successful completion of criminal background check, credit check and drug screening. Hours are 2 a.m.-11a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
