Spotsylvania resident makes first cut in 'Today's Superstar' contest

Anthony Campbell of Spotsylvania is one of seven remaining on NBC's "Today" show talent search. Campbell said he felt good about his performance of the Enrique Iglesias song "Hero."

His next song: "Walking In Memphis," originally recorded by Mark Cohen. The song has been recently recorded by the country band "Lone Star."

His reaction to the song chosen by the spin of a wheel: "It's one of my favorite songs. I'm looking forward to doing it."

Where: NBC's "Today" studio, Rockefeller Plaza

When: Monday at 8:30 a.m.
