The angels of WINGS helped with Hope House benefit

The angels of WINGS helped with Hope House benefit

Date published: 11/11/2003

On behalf of the board of directors, staff, and residents of Hope House, I would like to thank WINGS (Women in the Giving Spirit) for the "Girls Night Out" on Oct. 8.

"Girls Night Out" was a fund-raiser organized by WINGS to benefit Hope House. (WINGS is a local organization consisting of women who work together to raise money for various community charities). The women of WINGS planned a beautiful and elegant event and, as a result of their hard work and "giving spirits," $10,000 was raised for Hope House. Wow!

Those of us at Hope House are overwhelmed with gratitude and would like to thank everyone who was involved in this wonderful event for their time and generosity.

Thanks to everyone in the WINGS organization who worked hard to make this a successful event. Their dedication and creativity made "Girls Night Out" a huge success.

Additionally, we would like to thank the sponsors of the event: Doncaster, Coker Orthodontics, and D.R. Hall Construction, as well as Jackie Walker, who was the featured speaker.

And finally, thanks to all of those in the community who supported the event by attending. The response was tremendous. What a magnificent and caring community we live in!
