A volunteer emergency medical technician is in jail after he allegedly took a patient's credit card to purchase a plasma TV.

Prince William Police spokesman Dennis Mangan says on November 8 an 80-year old woman was transported from the Manassas Retirement Home to Prince William Hospital

by two EMTs from Stonewall Jackson Volunteer Fire Department. Mangan says they allegedly went through the woman's wallet to get identification to take to the hospital.

Two days later the woman's daughter received a call to verify an online credit card purchase of the TV to the fire department. 22-year-old Justin White is charged with credit card theft, credit card fraud, identification theft and attempted grand larceny. He's being held on $5,000 bond.
