Colonial Forge Sound and Guard welcomed the Rodney E. Thompson Middle School Band for a home game at the high school last month. The middle school band had the opportunity to play along with the Forge Sound and Guard to experience high school band life. This was the first time a program like this occurred. The Rodney E. Thompson Middle school Band warmed up with the Sound and Guard, marched on the field, then played in the stands with them thoughout the game. Colonial Forge High School's band director is Andrew E. Loft and his countepart at Rodney Thompson is Cathy Fisher.
