The new news crew for WCES Channel 7 News will be: Adam Loop, Darin Council, Jasmine O'Banner and Lisa Ptakowski.

The staff will put on Faculty Follies tomorrow from 7-8:30. It will be presenting short skits and acts, and all proceeds will go to Canine Partners for Life, a program which trains and places assistance dogs with individuals with mobility impairments to help increase their independence and quality of life. In addition to the skits and acts, the Canine Partners for Life informational video will première in which Lee Peetoom is featured. You can buy tickets at the school and at Dog Dayz at 1014 Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for school-age children. There are a limited 265 tickets available. Donations will also be appreciated.

The boys track team placed second in the Stafford County Track Meet. Thomas Porter set a new county record in the 1600 meter and 2400 meter races. Cody Payne took three seconds off the county record in the 800 meter. The following students placed first in the county: Brad Hodges, shot put; Brady Travers, 400 meter and the mile relay team of Jay Carter, Jeremy Bumbrey, Cody Payne and Brady Travers. The following students also placed in individual events : Xavior Gross, Chris Small, Maurice Jones, Trey O'quinn, Austin White, Jeremy Bumbrey, Mark McClenden and Tim Wisniewski.
