Dr. Craig is a lifesaver for kids with allergies

September 18, 2005 1:06 am

On behalf of my family and other families of children with severe food allergies, I would like to say "thank you" to Dr. Seth Craig for his outstanding presentation to the teachers and staff at my child's school, Conway Elementary in Stafford.

Dr. Craig volunteered his time and knowledge to give a presentation on the seriousness of food allergies and how to help these children be both safe and successful in a school environment.

Dr. Craig went above and beyond as a physician. After a 45-minute presentation, he stayed to answer questions from teachers and nurses from around the county.

Our community is fortunate to have a doctor who cares so much about his patients that he is willing to give up a Friday afternoon to help train others how to keep children safe.

The world could use more selfless people like Dr. Craig. By giving an hour of his time, he may have just saved my daughter's life and many others.
