What would a breath of fresh air cost Virginia?

What would a breath of fresh air cost Virginia?

What would cleaning up Virginia's dirtiest coal-fired power plants mean? ["Progress on way in restoring Bay?" Feb. 2].

Would it mean fewer asthma attacks, less smog, less mercury in the Chesapeake Bay, fewer children threatened with mercury-related brain damage? Is cleanup worth it? Is clean air worth a phone call or an e-mail?

Last year's Clean Smokestack legislation died in committee. Del. Orrock voted against the bill. Ask Del. Orrock to support HB 1055, the Clean Smokestack Act.

In Maryland, 97 legislators support the Healthy Air Act of 2006. North Carolina passed Clean Smokestacks legislation in 2002.

Tell Del. Orrock you want Virginia to clean up state pollution with no emissions trading. I wonder if the power companies have called him.
