For most nonprofit agencies, proceeds from fundraisers are a vital source of revenue.
On Feb. 25, for the fourth year, Van and Deborah Perroy, owners of Fredericksburg Square, hosted the Magnolia Ball, a formal dinner, dance, and auction to benefit Hospice Support Care.
All money raised from this event will go directly to program services, which are offered to the community at no cost.
On behalf of the patients and families served by our agency, I would like to thank the Perroys for their incredible generosity.
To all the staff who donated their time for the evening, thank you.
Thanks go to Joe Ulman and the Fredericksburg Big Band for providing guests with wonderful music, to The Auction Man for time and talent, and to the Mary Washington Jazz Trio for entertainment.
To the many individuals and businesses who donated items for the auction, we thank you.
The Magnolia Ball could not have been such a success without all those who came out that evening to support us.
Once again, the generous spirit of the Fredericksburg community shines.
