Bennie L. Frye
Bennie Lee Frye, 75, of King George County, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at Mary Washington Hospital. He had retired in 1988 as a painter at Fort A.P. Hill.
Mr. Frye is survived by two daughters, Shirley Anderson of King George, and Brenda J. Scott of Triangle; two sons, Darrell Frye and Carrol White, both of King George; two granddaughters, Yolanda and Ronda Frye, both of King George; one goddaughter, Lisa Horne; four sisters, Mary Ware, Peachie Scranage and Margaret Hill, all of King George, and Sylvester Lumpkin, of Spotsylvania; three brothers, Nelson, George, and Philip Frye, all of King George; and two great-grandchildren.
On Thursday, Sept. 28, remains can be viewed beginning at noon with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Cedell Brooks Funeral Home, Port Royal.
A funeral will be Friday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Ambar in King George with the Rev. Franklin Grant officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Online condolences at brooksfuneral home.com.
