Crime Solvers

Spotsylvania Crime Solvers is seeking information on the following crimes:

Deputies responded to a robbery at Spotsylvania Towne Centre on Nov. 25. The victim was walking to her car with a friend, near Macy's, when a man ran between them and grabbed the victim's purse. The man drove off in a white car with Virginia tags that was parked in the construction zone. He was described as a black man wearing all black and a black ski mask (06-150125).

A female victim reported that an unknown black man robbed her while she was standing at the bus stop at the Hilltop Giant food store Nov. 24. At 11:40 a.m., the victim was grabbed from behind by a black man wearing a dark jacket and dark-colored shoes who demanded she hand over her cash. The victim complied and the man ran off toward Burger King (06-149440).

A residence on Plantation Forest Drive was entered by an unknown person who stole an Xbox 360 game system and 45 games. The burglary occurred Nov. 26 between 3:30 and 10 p.m. (06-150496).

A residence on Pecan Drive in Breezewood was burglarized between Nov. 22 and 25. The burglar(s) stole a 27-inch Sony TV, a 20-inch Durabrand TV and a DVD player (06-149977).

Several instances of vandalism and a theft were reported by two businesses in the 2600 and 2700 blocks of Lafayette Boulevard between Nov. 25 and Nov. 27. Unknown persons entered the lot of Park Ridge Auto Sales and scratched the paint on at least eight vehicles and punctured two tires. During that same time frame, unknown persons stole a 4- by 8-foot painted plywood sign bearing the company logo and name "Chittum and McDaniel Insurance" (06-150675, 06-150665).

More than $7,000 worth of tools and copper were stolen from a locked storage unit behind the Fredericksburg Field House off Tidewater Trail between Nov. 25 and Nov. 27. Stolen were a $5,000 Topcom pipe laser, a site level, a pipe saw and $1,700 worth of 2-inch copper piping (06-150622).

Unknown persons removed $8,000 worth of copper wire from the construction site of American Family Fitness off Southpoint Parkway. The larceny occurred between Nov. 25 and Nov. 27 (06-150645).

A vehicle parked on Flippo Drive was hit by thieves between Nov. 25 and Nov. 28. The vehicle was found on blocks; all four tires and rims as well as the subwoofers were reported stolen (06-151413).

Owes child support

Bobby Lee Fuggett Jr., 28, whose last known address was in Fairbanks, Alaska, is wanted on family desertion charges and owes $12,883 in back child support. He is described as a white man, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
