Wallet and kindness, lost and found

Christmas spirit was in full effect at Chick-fil-A in Stafford County recently.

After a visit to the restaurant's drive-through window, I realized my wallet was gone. In a panic I went back and asked if a wallet was turned in. I searched the grounds to no avail.

It's hard to describe how upset I was, as the wallet contained all of my Christmas money. I started to pray; it was a tough lesson to learn.

I returned home and called to see if by chance my wallet had been found. I was excited to find out that an honest person had found it in the parking lot and had turned it in.

It's nice to know that in this unpredictable world, there is still old-fashioned honesty. My heartfelt thanks goes out to whomever found the wallet and turned it in.

I also thank the folks at Chick-fil-A for being honest, as well.
