Sydney Wallace and Emily Burke had two each; Katie Rauch, Skylar Wilcox, Madalyn Amos and Emily Hunter also scored. Shannon Wratchford and Ashley Jacobs hustle set up many of the shots, while Elizabeth Balgoyen preserved the shut out in goal.

The Spotsylvania Warriors opened their season by scoring 16 runs on 15 hits in the first game of a doubleheader. The Warriors were led offensively by Ben Keller who scored three runs and drove in three runs. Robert Gulatsi added two hits and two RBIs, while Chris Weller and Brandon Taylor also had two hits. Alex Branham was the winning pitcher, and Taylor Hedrick added three strong innings of relief.
In the second game Ben Keller was the winning pitcher and Eddie aReyes recorded the save in a close 4-1 ball game. The Warriors received a strong defensive performance from Luke Mello, Grayson Runey and Mitchell Leippert.
