Agility training offered in Stafford
Youth interested in improving their flexibility, agility, speed and strength are invited to a training camp from April 29 through May 24 at Curtis Park.
The camp is designed for youth, both boys and girls, between the ages of 10 and 18.
The $210 fee includes a shirt and shorts. Space is limited. Sign up early.

Cheerleading clinic, tryouts to be held
SCZ All-Star Cheer & Dance is holding a free cheer, stunt and tumbling clinic on April 27.
Cheerleading and dance assessments will be held May 11-12 for team placements. Accepting levels prep through level five coed.

City holds summer camp registration
The Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation Department will begin accepting registration from nonresidents for summer camps and swim lessons today.
All registration is held at the Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal Street in downtown Fredericksburg.

Swimming stroke clinic held in May
The Rappahannock Swimming League Pre-Season Stroke Clinic takes place May 21-24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The fee is $50.

CFHS offering sports physicals for athletes
Colonial Forge Athletic Boosters will be hosting Sports Physical Day on May 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.
All rising seventh- through 12th-grade athletes are encouraged to get their physical for next year's sports season. All athletes must have their physical completed before trying out for any team.
Pick up a physical form from any school's athletic director or physical-education teachers. Parents do not have to be present. The physical form must be signed prior to the student's receiving the physical.
Cost of the physical is $10.
Travel football club holding registration
Stafford Youth Football Club has begun football and cheerleading registration for the 2007 season. Children ages 5 to 13 are welcome. Coaches are needed. For details, call 540/903-2957.
Field hockey camp planned at SHS
A field hockey skill and development camp will be held June 18-21 at Stafford High School.
The camp is for athletes entering seventh through 10th grades. Fee is $100. For details, visit ccfieldhockey .info.
