Why ration water if we can't manage growth?
We all depend on water, so why ration it if we are not properly managing growth? ["Watering may be tied to address," May 2.]
We hydrate our bodies with water. Businesses run on water (pools, car washes, restaurants, beauty salons, etc.).
It is unfair to enforce water rationing if we are not properly controlling the growth that depletes our existing water resources.
Water rationing is a temporary fix and therefore leads to the question: What measures are being explored to ensure sustained resources associated with our infrastructure over the next 25 years?
Let's control growth before we restrict homeowners to one of our most precious resources--water.

How are the devlopers and large landowners supposed to line their pockets if they can't build anymore huge, crowded developments. We'll all have to pitch in and conserve our water so they can get more houses built. All those new houses will need that water too!

This is fast becoming one of my pet peaves, people. The term is "citizen", not "Taxpaper". Yes, "taxpaper" is technically correct, but there is a BIG difference in what those terms convey. "Taxpayers" support government, but government SERVES Citizens. How do you want to be treated?
