Monday was a learning day. Yesterday was all about work.
Art team members and volunteers lined all 31 feet of the warehouse wall at Roxbury Farm and Garden Center yesterday. And it paid off. Flowers now bloom from the cinder block and a flaming sun has emerged from the concrete horizon.
The workers are as diverse as the colors in the mural. A Caucasian man with a red mohawk. A young African-American girl.
The Multicultural OutReach Effort's art team is installing a mosaic mural on the wall this week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
