Maurice L. Wentz

Maurice Lee Wentz Jr., 63, of King George County died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born in Australia. He retired as a U.S. Coast Guard boatswain mate first class. He then became a mechanic at United Automotive Electrical in Baltimore, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Lelia A. Wentz, daughter Dolly Marie Wentz, and son James Lee Wentz, all of the home; and his father, Maurice L. Wentz of Baltimore.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Hanover Baptist Church, King George, with the Rev. Rick Crookshank and the Rev. Bill Boyer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Historyland Memorial Park, King George.
