Pollard cares about future of Virginia

I was recently asked my opinion regarding the two men running for state Senate. The gentleman to whom I was talking is a retired teacher and resident of Reedville. He said that he had gone to one of the senate candidate debates and had heard Richard Stuart and Albert Pollard speak, and came away feeling that they were fairly similar in their views.

I explained that I was biased, since I have known Mr. Pollard for a number of years and have worked with him on committees and fundraisers. He asked me if Albert was a good man. I answered, "Yes, and he's an honest man who loves his family and works hard, and is not in anyone's pocket."

My friend told me that he also had a more positive impression of Mr. Pollard than of Mr. Stuart. He told me that Mr. Pollard seems to be more tolerant of others.

Albert Pollard cares deeply about Virginia's future. I want a caring state senator who has strong convictions and is not tied to any special-interest group, and who is tolerant of, and sensitive to, the opinions of others.

Albert Pollard has my support and my vote.
