Date published: 1/29/2008 Phyllis M. Berg Phyllis M. Berg, 70, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, Jan. 25, 2008. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to John "Jack" Berg; and loving mother to Cynthia Berg of New Milford, Conn., Rachel Phillips of Warrenton and Jennifer Tesar of Fredericksburg. Mrs. Berg also is survived by her two grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Phillips of Warrenton. A longtime resident of Fairfield, Conn., she moved to Fredericksburg in 1993, and most recently resided in Warrenton with her husband and family. She will be remembered for her love of family, generous spirit and wonderful sense of humor. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m., where a funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Mountain Grove Cemetery Easton in Easton, Conn., on Saturday, Feb. 2. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Scleroderma Foundation (scleroderma.org).
