With the upcoming special election for the Virginia House of Delegates, we in the 99th District need to look strongly at Lee Anne Washington to be our representative.
Lee Anne stands for lower taxes and limited government. She will work diligently for our local interests, including a review of Gov. Kaine's state school-system funding formula--which looks likely to cause local real estate taxes in Westmoreland County alone to rise by up to 40 percent just to give us the same funding level for our schools that we have now.
Lee Anne's family has lived in this area for over 350 years. As a conservative conservationist who will listen to her constituents and understands the difference between science and emotion, we can count on her to work toward a cleaner, safer, lower-taxed, and more prosperous Northern Neck. Please give Lee Anne Washington your vote on Feb. 19.
