Bernice S. Jordan, 81, of Chilesburg died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at her home.
Born in Caroline County, she was a lifelong member of County Line Baptist Church and had retired after a 30-year banking career at SunTrust in Beaverdam.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, E.C. "Johnny" Jordan; three sons, Ronnie Jordan and his wife, Jeanne, of Bowling Green, Kevin Jordan and his wife, Paige, of Bowling Green, and Greg Jordan and his wife, Laurie, of Mechanicsville; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12:30 until the service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to County Line Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
