Date published: 3/7/2008 Catherine M. Johnson Catherine Mabel Johnson, 87, formerly of Kinsale, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Edgar Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ryan and her husband, Sonny, of King George County; one brother, Winston Rice and his wife, Sarah, of Weems; one sister-in-law, Mary Harris of Warsaw; two granddaughters, Kelly France Bass and Lenna Pitts Foster, both of Gretna; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, on Friday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Cobham Park Baptist Church cemetery in Warsaw.
