Kelly A. Luckey

Kelly Ann Luckey, 18, of Stafford County, died Friday, March 21, 2008, at Washington Hospital Center.

She graduated from North Stafford High School and was attending Graham-Webb Academy in Arlington. She was a member of St. William of York Catholic Church, and was an accomplished field hockey, basketball and soccer player for her school and for travel teams. She was chosen homecoming queen during her freshman year. Bubbly and effusive, Kelly was a free spirit who was a friend to all unconditionally. She was ever-forgiving and always wanted to help those less fortunate.

Survivors include her parents, Michael and Tina Luckey of Stafford; one sister, Kimberly Luckey; one brother, Kenny Luckey; paternal grandparents, Horace and Jan Luckey; maternal grandparents, Harry and Caroline Specht; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.

A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 31, at St. William of York Catholic Church with Father David P. Meng officiating. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Stafford High School Field Hockey, 839 Garrisonville Road, Stafford, Va. 22554.
