Cora-Lee T. Whicker

Cora-Lee Tyler Whicker, 76, of Colonial Beach passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond.

She was police chief administrator for the Fredericksburg Police Department, and former owner of Whicker Realty in Colonial Beach. Mrs. Whicker was also a member of the Colonial Beach Art Guild.

She is survived by two sons, Chris Whicker and his wife, Diane, of Suffolk and Kevin Whicker and his wife, Maria, of Colonial Beach; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Colonial Beach Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Whicker officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, Colonial Beach.
