Trent Taylor

Trent Randolph Taylor Sr., 61, of Avon, N.C., passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008, at Wilburn Gardens in Fredericksburg.

He was the son of the late William Cleveland Taylor Jr. and Shirley Diggs Taylor of Newport News.

Mr. Taylor was a graduate of Warwick High School and attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk. He served as a park ranger in Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown, and had retired from the National Park Service.

He is survived by his son, Trent Randolph Taylor Jr. and his wife, Stacie, of Richmond; his brother, William Cleveland Taylor III and his wife, Betsy, of Spotsylvania County; and a niece, Catherine Taylor Marstellar of Lawrenceville, Ga.

There will be a private memorial service.

In accordance with his wishes, his ashes will be scattered in the waters off Cape Hatteras, N.C.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of choice.
