LOCALLY:

Guided Nature Tour, tomorrow, 2 p.m., Gari Melchers Home and Studio, Belmont, 224 Washington St., Falmouth. Members of the Central Rappahannock Chapter of the Virginia Naturalist program lead a free tour of the woods and fields the last Sunday of every month, starting at the visitor center. The walk covers about a mile of trails and will touch on the historic ruins. Sturdy footwear recommended; rain or shine; free, no reservations necessary. 540/654-1839.

"Weeding Out Cancer," today, 7 a.m.-2 p.m., Curves, Anna Point Marina, Mineral. The Central Virginia Master Gardeners have formed a team to walk in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. They will have a plant and yard sale to benefit this event, On Sunday, May 4, 1-4 p.m., at the Betty Queen Intergenerational Center. Dance lessons will be offered. $5 donation suggested.

"Water Gardening Bliss," today, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Palestine Farm, Ruther Glen. Sponsored by Germanna Community College. The next session will be "English Cottage Gardening," May 17, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Palestine Farm, The cost of the classes run $29 to $49 each. Registration is required.
