William H. Bagby
William Harvie Bagby, 80, of Mechanicsville passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Grace Bagby.
He is survived by three sons, William Craig Bagby and his wife, Ann, Michael Martin Bagby and his wife, Patricia, and Paul Ross Bagby and his wife, Alicia; five grandchildren, Andrew Bagby, Stephanie Ballew, Kristen White, Emily Bagby and Ross Bagby; five great-grandchildren, Collin, Molly, and Allison Ballew, and Rylie and Avery White. He is also survived by his brother, Melvin R. Bagby and his wife, Hazel.
Mr. Bagby was a member of Fairmount Christian Church and had retired from Dupont.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, State Route 301 and Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville.
A funeral will be held Monday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Signal Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haiti Outreach Ministries, c/o Fairmount Christian Church.
