Father held in rape of student
Father held without bond after Caroline High School student reports rapeDate published: 5/6/2008 BY ELLEN BILTZ A Ruther Glen man was charged with rape and sodomy last week after his daughter, a Caroline High School student, reported that she had been abused by her father. The 42-year-old man, who is not being named to protect the identity of the victim, was arrested April 28 after an employee at the high school told Deputy G.W. Honeycutt, the school's resource officer, about the reported abuse, said Miles Turner of the Caroline County Sheriff's Office. He said the law requires school officials to notify police if a student reports physical or sexual abuse and the girl reported that she had been sexually abused multiple times since Jan. 1. Her father is charged with rape and two counts of sodomy, as well as misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Turner said the juvenile female victim is currently living with foster parents. Her father is being held without bond at Pamunkey Regional Jail. He was arraigned April 29. Ellen Biltz: 540/374-5424

I hear you freedom, and i am just like you, however, i have a family that lives down the street that just went through that and when all the facts came out, the daughter made the story up becuase the dad would not let her get a belly ring. She is 13. She finally copped to making it up because of inconsistancies in her story. Thank goodness the media didnt get a hold of it.

Would that punishment apply before or after hi s case goes to court? It would seem someone is premature in their rush to judgment. I'm going to wait for the case to be adjudicated before I pass along any ideas for punishment.
