Ruth Jackson Scott, 51, of Stafford County passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008.
Mrs. Scott was a customer service representative. She was born Dec. 16, 1956, in Manila, Philippines, a daughter of the late Eugene Yapo Jackson and Matilda Carter Jackson.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Jackson and his wife, Paz, of San Diego, Calif., and Andrew Anthony Owens of Elmira, N.Y.; two daughters, Leonora Stowe and her husband, Eric, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Marjean Scott of Stafford; a beloved friend, Carl Owens of Fairfax; seven siblings; and six grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. the day of the service.
