Youngster injured in fall from vehicle
A 5-year-old Stafford boy was seriously injured over the weekend when he fell to the ground while riding on the bumper of a vehicle.
According to police and rescue sources, the incident occurred in the Foxwood Mobile Home Park.
The child was riding on the back bumper of a minivan when it struck a bump, causing the child to fall on his head, sources said. The child was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Efforts to get more information about the incident from the Sheriff's Office for the past few days have been unsuccessful, even though sources said the driver of the van has been charged.
Sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy said police are investigating the incident, but said it is the policy of the department to not release information until an arrest is made.

Do they have a dumb ass, redneck test? If so, what would it prove? That they are not Yankee's?
This was not worthy of printing. The article should have read: "Child of ignorant parent severely injured"

It appears that the operator of the vehicle also fell off something moving and hit his/her head.....and sustained permanent brain damage. Maybe the DMV test should require IQ test before issuing a driver's license..
