Herman Cole
Herman Cole, 93, of Stafford County died Monday, June 16, 2008, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Stafford, Mr. Cole had retired from Bethlehem Steel Co. in Baltimore, Md. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Stafford.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Cole of Stafford; a son, Sanford Cole and his wife, Juanita, of Stafford; two brothers, Leroy Cole of Spotsylvania County and Purcell Cole of Bowling Green; two sisters, Marie Hawkins of Maryland and Louise McFadden of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at noon on Saturday, June 21, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. Reginald Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body may be viewed from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Bailey Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, and one hour prior to the service time Saturday at the church.
