Jean Martin Satterwhite, 84, of Ashland went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. She was the widow of Lester Satterwhite.
She is survived by two daughters, Merry Collins and her husband, Bill, and Leslie Luck and her husband, Brian, all of Mechanicsville; two sons, Mark Bay and his wife, Janet, of Ashland, and David Bay and his wife, Connie, of St. Cloud, Fla.; her stepmother, Freda Martin of Harrisonburg; a brother, Roy Martin of Lake City, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Cardinal Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
