Culpeper town police are asking for the public's help in determining who robbed a 52-year-old man and slashed his throat.
The victim told police that he was returning home from visiting a friend about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday when two males, both believed to be in their late teens, followed him down Highview Court, eventually overtaking and robbing him.
After slashing his throat, the two men took the victim's wallet and a small amount of money, according to a police press release.
The victim was treated at the Culpeper Regional Hospital emergency room and released.
