Show me a candidate who will stand and fight!
I am over 60 years old and have kept silent about the affairs of state and government pretty much all my life, believing that our great nation would some- how find the ability to heal itself.
I served during the Vietnam era and always wore my stripes with pride.
As I watch the happenings of the world unfold today, I can't help but wonder when we are going to see the forest for the trees.
We have soaring gas prices, soldiers dying every day, and people here in this great country starving, while we spend billions everywhere but here.
I will not vote in this election because not one candidate has said anything positive about protecting and preserving our nation, other than the normal rhetoric they all give when they are trying to get elected.
Is there not one candidate who will actually stand up for our people and our country? What is it going to take to make our nation great again?
Show me a candidate who really cares for this country. Feed our hungry, help our sick, and take care of our fuel!

He virtually single handedly restored my faith of honor in America. His election on 9/9/06 will be marked as a turning point in American politics where the little guy stood up to the bullies and liars, I'm currently reading his new book: A Time to Fight, Reclaiming a Fair and Just America...It is excellent.
In my opinion, someday there will be statues and memorials of him.
I disagree with you again, here is why.

While Iraq did not invade us, they repeatedly defied and ignored 18 UN resolutions regarding weapons inspections and the like. It is unfortunate that the intel was inaccurate but that does not bother my after my 3 tours in "Iraq II". Saddam was someone who had to be eliminated, i was proud to be a part of that. Now, those Iraqis can speak their minds. Freedom is contagious, the more freedoms there are, the safer "WE" are. I honestly do not know of another Marine that feels differently.
Thank Justice...

for serving - if you were "leg infantry" and were Iraq II they do have it hard. If it was early 90s Iraq war, that doesn't really register with me. I honor the current GIs in Iraq, but I don't think they are fighting for my freedom of speech. There was nothing in Iraq then, now or in the future that was or will limit my Constitutional freedoms - NOT ONE THING. What pains me is that some fine soldiers are dying for lies created by men who ran from service and could care less about fine soldiers.
I fought for your right to say whatever you want.

It is unbelievable the sheer number of Americans who have serious concerns and could be added to the "wacko conspiracy" group. The 1997 "Project for the New American Century" ... ah, they, ah CAME OUT AND SAID IT... signed P. Wolfowitz, D. Cheney, Jeb Bush, Don Rumsfeld. The two last pieces left - decredit succesful populist President & install (even illegitimately) an amoral meglomanic Prez who doesn't question, or think and defers to the above. Check & check! Brilliant really.
