I am over 60 years old and have kept silent about the affairs of state and government pretty much all my life, believing that our great nation would some- how find the ability to heal itself.
I served during the Vietnam era and always wore my stripes with pride.
As I watch the happenings of the world unfold today, I can't help but wonder when we are going to see the forest for the trees.
We have soaring gas prices, soldiers dying every day, and people here in this great country starving, while we spend billions everywhere but here.
I will not vote in this election because not one candidate has said anything positive about protecting and preserving our nation, other than the normal rhetoric they all give when they are trying to get elected.
Is there not one candidate who will actually stand up for our people and our country? What is it going to take to make our nation great again?
Show me a candidate who really cares for this country. Feed our hungry, help our sick, and take care of our fuel!
