Date published: 7/15/2008 Clifton R. Brown Clifton Rollin Brown, born Aug. 28, 1930, a resident of Stafford County, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Greenfield Assisted Living. His wife, Catherine, his daughter, Cathy, and his friend, Leo Breeden, were with him as he passed away. Clifton worked for Virginia Power in Dumfries for almost 35 years and retired as a control room operator. He was a devoted member of Triangle Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Parker Brown, who also resides at Greenfield Assisted Living; his daughter, Cathy Brown of Stafford; two nephews, Steve Sullivan and Larry Sullivan, both of Woodbridge; and a niece, Carol Howard of Georgia. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Al Marguerat officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
