Climate change could mean more health problems
Date published: 7/23/2008 Whether it is caused by global warming or not, weather changes are evident. The Environmental Protection Agency says it could mean not so good news for the future. Dr. Joe Siatta of the Rappahannock Area Health District says the climate will likely change gradually over the years. He says that residents should get flu shot regularly, have allergy tests as needed and get the proper vaccines for themselves and their family. Siatta says it's also a good idea to get prepared for any situation. Preparation could include everything from staying more informed about mother nature to collecting different kinds of emergeny supply kit items.
