Marty's Roofing has been selected for the 2008 Best of Fredericksburg Award in the roofing category by the U.S. Local Business Association.

Northwestern Mutual Financial Network announces that Robert T. Billingsley, a field director in its Fredericksburg office, received a number of awards recently, including the company's Top 100 New Clients Award, and Northwestern Mutual's Life Impact, Achievement, Pacemaker and Diamond awards. He also qualified for the 100 Lives Club and the Million Dollar Round Table.

Sam Adiyeh, a Fredericksburg resident and general manager of The Olive Garden in Central Park, has been presented with Darden Restaurants' top honor, the Diamond Club Award.
