The Caroline County Sheriff's Office was looking yesterday for a 71-year-old man who reportedly wandered away from a nursing home.
Sheriff Tony Lippa said the search began just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday when his office received a call that Richard Robertson was missing from the Bowling Green Health Care Center on Anderson Avenue. Lippa said authorities from multiple local agencies conducted an air and ground search for Robertson Sunday and yesterday.
Robertson is described as white, clean-shaven, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans and a gray short-sleeved shirt. Lippa said Robertson suffers from dementia and is in need of medication.
