Annie Estelle Ross, 79, of DeSha, Essex County, departed this life Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at her residence.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruby Johnson, Laverne Ross and Mary Liston; one son, Tony Ross; and one sister, Josephine Bayton.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. A funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at St. John Baptist Church, DeSha, with the Rev. Linwood Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
