Premier tenor in the U.S. Army, Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Giuliano, will be in concert today at 7 p.m. at the Lake of the Woods Church.

FREDERICKSBURG

St. George's Episcopal Church, 905 Princess Anne St., will hold a Blessing of the Animals today at 4:30 p.m. The custom is conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love for all creatures.

The Rt. Rev. Shannon Johnston, bishop coadjutor of Virginia, will address an adult forum tomorrow at 9:55 a.m. in Faulkner Hall.

Unity Church of Fredericksburg, 3607 Lafayette Blvd., will host the Rev. Christopher Chenoweth's "The Process of Advanced Prosperity" workshop tomorrow from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The workshop, free and open to the public, contains proven spiritual techniques that teach participants how to work with God to create lasting demonstrations and manifestations of prosperity. The Rev. Chenoweth will also be the guest speaker at the 10 a.m. service.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Agnus Dei Lutheran Church will hold its first service in its new location at Germanna Community College at 9 a.m. tomorrow. A brief coffee hour will follow the service.

Beulah Baptist Church,5216 Arcadia Road, will hold an "All Choirs Day" celebration today at 4 p.m. Guests will be The Greater Praise Temple of Woodbridge and Al Muntzie and the Renaissance Gospel Singers of Alexandria.

The church will hold a Mother-Daughter tea Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. Evangelist Patricia Wormley of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Spotsylvania, will be the guest speaker.

Christian Outreach, 10108 Jim Morris Road, will hold its homecoming tomorrow with special guests, Blood Connections.

Faith Christian Center, 10606 Benchmark Road, will hold a healing service tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Fellowship Baptist Church, 13737 Post Oak Road, will hold its homecoming tomorrow. Guest speaker for the 11 a.m. service will be the Rev. James Eure. Eure and Edith Seay will provide special music. Lunch will follow on the church grounds. The afternoon music service will begin at 1:45 p.m. featuring Zion's Song. The afternoon offering will benefit the church building fund.

First Baptist Church of Love will hold its homecoming and revival services beginning tomorrow and continuing through Wednesday. Sunday service will start at 3 p.m. with prayer and praise at 2:45 p.m. Pastor Dwayne Fields from Oxford Mount Zion Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, will preach. Dinner will be served at 1:45 p.m. Services Monday through Wednesday will begin at 8 p.m., with prayer and praise at 7:45 p.m. The Rev. Antonio Baker, Third Mount Zion Baptist Church, Woodford, will preach on Monday; the Rev. Nathaniel Young, Beulah Baptist Church, Spotsylvania, on Tuesday; and the Rev. Charles Wormley, Mount Zion Baptist Church, Spotsylvania, on Wednesday.

Goshen Baptist Church, 9800 Gordon Road, will hold its annual homecoming at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Revival services will start at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Special speaker for the services will be Don Cass, director of evangelism for the Southern Baptists of Texas.

Hebron Baptist Church, 6431 Courthouse Road, will hold its homecoming tomorrow at 10 a.m. The service will include special music by Michael Birchfield and the church choir, followed by a message from Evangelist Gary Linton. Revival services will be held Monday through Thursday, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Linton will be the speaker. Music will be provided by Zion Song on Monday; Debbie Walsh on Tuesday; Hebron Baptist Church Choir on Wednesday; and The Carters on Thursday.

Mount Olive Baptist Church, Partlow, will celebrate Family & Friends Day tomorrow at 3 p.m. The Rev. Leon Easterling from Mount Holly Baptist Church, Unionville, will be the guest speaker.

Redeemer Lutheran Church, 5120 Harrison Road, will host Alan Butterworth from the Apple of His Eye Lutheran ministry during both services tomorrow.

Walnut Hills United Pentecostal Church, 11506 Brian Drive, will celebrate its anniversary with services at 2 p.m. today and 11 a.m. tomorrow. Special speakers will be included.

Wilderness Baptist Church, 9701 Plank Road, will hold its fall festival Saturday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Live music, a bake sale, games, crafts, a Chinese auction, cake walk, hay rides, rummage sale, food concession and a car show will be among the activities. Proceeds will benefit the building fund.

STAFFORD COUNTY

Abundant Life Assembly of God, 200 Onville Road, will host a presentation of Christ in the Passover tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. A table set with traditional Jewish passover items will be present. Jews for Jesus has presented the demonstration in over 5,000 churches.

Beth Sholom Temple, 805 Lyons Blvd., will host Kol Nidre on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Yom Kippur services will begin Thursday at 10 a.m. Children's afternoon services will begin at 3:30 p.m. and Yizkor will take place at 5:15 p.m. Concluding services start at 6 p.m. and break-the-fast is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Bethel Baptist Church, 1193 White Oak Road, will host a Jews for Jesus presentation tomorrow at 11 a.m. The sermonic demonstration is a table set with traditional passover items that will deepen the communion experience.

Choice Baptist Church, 16 Burton Loop, will hold a Western Jamboree fall festival Saturday, Oct. 11 from 2 to 6 p.m. A petting zoo, hay rides, food and amusements will be included.

Faith Christian Fellowship, will host its fifth anniversary celebration with a free concert featuring Calling Levi tomorrow starting with praise and worship music at 5 p.m. and the concert at 6 p.m. Calling Levi is a group of four vocalists, two sisters and their husbands, who have traveled throughout the world. The event will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 410 Deacon Road.

Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site), Garrisonville, will hold Senior Citizen Day tomorrow at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. E.L. Smiling, pastor of Clever's Oak Baptist Church in Goldvein. Dinner will be served before the service.

Stafford Baptist Church, 2202 Jefferson Davis Highway, will hold a breakfast fellowship for all ages tomorrow at 9:45 a.m. The 11 a.m. service will be a special commissioning service for those who are leaving for the mission field in Iceland for two years.

KING GEORGE COUNTY

St. Stephen's Baptist Church, 9142 Cormon Road, will hold morning worship tomorrow at 10 a.m. in order for church members to go to Richmond for a church service at Mount Hermon Baptist Church at 3 p.m.

CAROLINE COUNTY

Carmel Baptist Church, 24320 Jefferson Davis Highway, Ruther Glen, will celebrate 235 years of continuous ministry with a special homecoming service tomorrow at 10 a.m. Following lunch on the church grounds, festivities will continue at 2 p.m. with afternoon worship and a time of sharing special memories. Fall revival services will start Monday and continue through Wednesday at 7 p.m. nightly. Pastor Jeff Brauer from Winns Baptist Church, Glen Allen, will deliver the message. Special music will be presented by area artists.

Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, will hold revival Thursday and Friday. The Rev. Alroy Henderson, pastor of First Baptist Church, Matthews, will be the evangelist. Prayer and praise will begin at 7:30 p.m., with worship starting at 8 p.m.

First Baptist Church, 9262 Guinea Station Road, Woodford, will celebrate the sixth anniversary of its Women's Ministry on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Margaret Jones, associate minister at Mount Oni Baptist Church, Ruther Glen. Dinner will be served immediately following the service at the Upper Caroline County Firehouse.

Long Branch Baptist Church, Woodford, will hold a prayer breakfast today at 8 a.m. Guest presenter will be Chrissy Mack, who is a personal trainer. The Sunday school will observe its annual day tomorrow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Lawrence Cole, youth and young adult minister from Mount Hope Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, as guest preacher. Dinner will be served after the morning service. On Saturday, Oct. 11, at 3 p.m., the Missionary Ministry will present the Word of Truth Church Choir from Stafford County in concert, with a light repast following.

Shiloh Baptist Church, 127 South Main St., Bowling Green, will discontinue its early summer worship and will worship at 11 a.m. beginning tomorrow.

CULPEPER COUNTY

Free Gospel Church of Christ--Apostolic will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the church and the 23rd anniversary of its pastor today and tomorrow. Guest speaker today will be Bishop James Briscoe from Bryans Road Free Gospel Church in Maryland at 5 p.m. Guest speaker tomorrow at 11 a.m. will be Bishop John Marshall from Free Union Gospel Church in Gordonsville.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY

First Baptist Church, 13600 Minnieville Road, Dale City, will host Archbishop Henry Luke Orombi of the Church of Uganda at a special event for all members of Anglican District of Virginia churches today, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by 7 p.m. worship.

First Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dumfries, will host the Augustus T. Gaskins Community Empowerment Conference Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The conference will focus on HIV/AIDS awareness, education and community involvement. Saadia Griffith-Howard and John W. Kinney will speak.

GOSPEL SINGS/ CONCERTS

Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Brick Church Road, Orange County, will hold a gospel sing benefit for Lacy Bragg on Friday, starting at 6 p.m. with a covered-dish dinner. Performers will be Earl Tally & Friends and Friends and Family. A love offering will be received.

Living Ark Baptist Church, Owens, will host The Yancey Brothers of Newark, Del., in concert today at 5 p.m. The event is being sponsored by the King George Branch NAACP. A free will offering will be received.

The Lake of the Woods Church will host Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Giuliano, a premier tenor in the U.S. Army, today at 7 p.m. as part of the monthly concert series, "Making a Joyful Noise." He has performed for heads of state worldwide and is remembered as soloist at the funeral for President Ronald Reagan. He will present tributes to Mario Lanza and popular favorites featured on his new CD, "A Classical Soldier's Musical Journey."
