Obama will work for average Americans

Barack Obama clearly took command of the first debate and made it clear that we need to work toward ending the war and mending fences with our neighbors.

Obama has a clear understanding of what we need to keep our country safe. He hit a home run on the economy and tax cuts for average Americans, not the wealthy people McCain favors.

John McCain's positions on the war, economy, and tax breaks would mean another term of failed policies.

Eight years of Bush's failed policies is enough. We someone who will work for average Americans: Obama has my vote.

Hmmm- Obama meay be right about you're clinging to religion and guns. (posted by kenderr , Oct. 8, 2008 3:56 pm)
I'm just teasing you, my friend. (ix-nay on the aw-sayed otggun-shay). Article 2 is constitutional. Article 8 grants retroactive immunity... What is this? Monopoly? Get out of jail free? International courts are already making cases for trying people for war crimes. Ever hear of the Nuremberg trials? Some day, those up the chain of command who issued some bad orders or ignored crimes MAY have to pay. I not talking little fish like Lynndie England and Charles Graner. I'm talking Rumsfeld, Tenet and ?

kenderr.....for comparison (posted by savedbygracealone , Oct. 8, 2008 2:20 pm)
A #1 Phillips screw-driver will make about the same size entry wound as a .30 caliber rifle at range. The difference is that you have to watch the life drain from the bad guy's face as they try and comprehend the mistake they made. The Louisville Slugger is a little less precise, but the end result is the same. Occasionally, additional strikes are needed to ensure the dummy that came into your house uninvited doesn't leave without their body bag.

More for kenderr (posted by savedbygracealone , Oct. 8, 2008 2:16 pm)
If sections 2 and 8 were not addressed, could it be perhaps that they are within the bounds of the Constitution? As far as real assault rifles go, I would pick a BAR 30 Caliber (Clyde Barrow's weapon of choice). If the goal is long range, then we move over to the Barrett M82-A1 50 caliber sniper rifle......2 MILE RANGE. For up close and personal events, a sawed off shotgun (12 gauge) will do, and if you're looking for a good pistol, try a small double action hidden hammer .38 revolver. They don't jam up.

Answers for kenderr (posted by savedbygracealone , Oct. 8, 2008 2:09 pm)
1. I'm NOT a convicted felon...or any other crime for that matter..beyond a couple of speeding tickets from a younger dumber time in my life. 2.There is no weapon I want that I cannot get..or make myself...got a knack for stuff like that. 3. I already have an assault weapon (Louisville Slugger). 4. I don't need to register a baseball bat, or a screwdriver, and both are just as deadly in the right hands. 5. I have nothing to hide. 6. I'm not mentally imbalanced. and 7. I don't use drugs (like Obama did).

saved-How about answering the rest of my questions? (posted by kenderr , Oct. 8, 2008 10:33 am)
Of course, ANYONE (children included) who uses a gun should first learn to use it safely. (P.S. I know that June 12 Supreme Court decision concerned section 7... Now you can't hold someone forever without cause. Sections 2 and 8 were not addressed that day.)
