DECA/Marketing's First Annual Trick-or-Treat Promotional Bag Design winners include:

First place--Amanda Lopez and Heather Hudson

Second place--Kayleigh Spangenberger and Arianna Pharo

Third place--Sury Hernandez and Stephanie O'Neal

Honorable Mention--Nye Johnson and Eugenie Korzeniowsi.

Students who made All District Choir include: K.K. Lilly; Lauren Dayton; Jonathan Ellsworth; Jon Minor, first chair tenor; and Brian Johnson, second chair tenor. C.C. Holt made first alternate.

Jackie Graham finished 38th at the state meet this weekend with a personal best time of 19:59.

The Technology Student Association is collecting good usable jackets and sweaters, which can be donated to a needy family. Bring all items to Sidney Robinson's room, V215, on "A" days.

Varsity field-hockey players selected to the All Region team include Skyler Medley, Olivia Mabry and Sarah McCoy.

The following cadets received a Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force Coin of Excellence for their participation as honor guard and color guard at the Veterans Day ceremony at the Fredericksburg War Memorial: Autumn Ellickson, Lakeishia Matthews, Skylar Haigler, Stephen Ennis, Melissa Field and Carl Fox.

The following students have been selected as members of the District 15 All District Chorus: Kacey Johnson, Haley Cordle, Stephanie Floyd, Jamila Ribeiro, Kyle Humphrey and Tim Mort.

Fredericksburg Academy

Student athletes will receive awards today for their participation in fall sports. The middle school and JV awards assembly will be at 1 p.m. in the gym, and the varsity awards ceremony will be at 7 p.m. in the theater.

Middle school students are auditioning this week for the production of "Seussical Jr." The students will perform the musical in February.

The first grade will perform its traditional Thanksgiving play, "Thank You, Indians, Thank You, Pilgrims," at 7 p.m. Thursday for parents and guests and at 10 a.m. Friday for the lower school. Both performances will be in the Reed Theater.

Also on Thursday, the kindergarten will have its "Stone Soup" luncheon. The students will prepare soup, homemade muffins and homemade butter for the feast.
