Air Force Airman Joshua A. Mack has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Nicole Mack of Culpeper and is a 2007 graduate of Culpeper County High School.

Air Force Airman Devin M. Familette has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Dorothea Bowes of Ruther Glen.

Army National Guard Pfc. Rebecca A. Gough has graduated from basic military training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C., to be a member of the Army National Guard or Reserve Split-option Program. She is the daughter of Sharon Gore of King George County and is a student at King George High School.

Air Force Airman Trevor J. Simms has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Simms earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Melinda Simms of Colonial Beach and is a 2008 graduate of Colonial Beach High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. Brandon D. Cobb, son of Portia L. Cobb of Ruther Glen, recently completed the Marine Corps Enlisted Warehouse Basic Course with Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools Training Command, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Cobb is a 2007 graduate of Caroline High School, Milford.
