BATTLEFIELD DISTRICT CHANCELLOR

Coach: Kevin Maloy

Last year: Boys third, girls fourth in Battlefield District. Top returners: Boys--Sr. Tyler Sites, Sr. Nolan Adams, Jr. John Schubel. Girls--Sr. Kristen Bradley, Sr. Leah Schubel, Sr. Elizabeth Dickinson. Top newcomers: Boys--Jr. Lawson Allen, Fr. Will Dickinson, Fr. Josh Franklin, Fr. Issac Franklin. Girls--Fr. Emma Douglass, Fr. Alle Gick, Jr. Emily Link, Jr. Brittany Pinheiro. Outlook: The Chargers return several key contributors from last year's squad. The experienced group will also be aided by new talent as the team has more than doubled in size from last year.

COURTLAND

Coaches: Greg Marsh, Jill Jensen

Last year: Girls second, boys fourth in Battlefield District. Top returners: Boys--Sr. Alex Tiblin, Sr. Ryan Rodriguez, Sr. Jeff Stoddard, Srs. Ryan and Daniel McCombie.. Girls--Casey Goditus, Sr. Gina Oddi, Soph. Amanda Hathaway, Soph. Tori Hlusko. Top newcomers: Boys--Fr. Daniel Adams, Fr. Brian Funderburke. Girls--Sr. Tara Willging, Jr. Emily Tolson, Jr. Julia Monahan, Soph. Katelyn Sutkowski, Soph. Anja Willging, Fr. Claire Hybl. Outlook: The Cougars have several state-qualifiers returning and hope to close the gap on defending district champion King George.

EASTERN VIEW

First season.

JAMES MONROE

Coach: Laura Pinkerton

Last year: Boys--Second in district. Girls--Third in district. Top returners: Boys--Sr. Trevor Carr. Girls--So. Sarah White, Sr. Ali Wood. Top newcomers: Boys--Fr. Kyle Hayes. Girls--Fr. Laura Zimmerman. Outlook: The Yellow Jackets will be rebuilding after graduating 16 seniors from last season's team. A strong freshman class will be counted on to fill the holes and help the teams compete at the top of the district.

KING GEORGE

Coach: Debi Bernardes Last year: Boys, girls first in Battlefield District. Top returners: Boys--Kurt Albert, Dave Boucher, Tyler Grigg, Dylan Manard, Paul Hutnyan, Andrew Snider, Bryan Cameron, Bradford Ballenger, Jamie Morrow. Girls--Kathleen Lyons, Claire Shippee, Chelisse Perry, Heather Jones, Courtney Hartnett, Amanda Ackerman, Elisa Huger, Emily Pelto, Stephanie Campbell. Top newcomers: Boys--David Hunt, Louis Crolet, Andrew Braden. Girls--Leann Miller, Alexandra Benz, Christiana Bentz, Rachel Webb. Outlook: The Foxes graduated several key swimmers from last year's district champions, but have reloaded with some talent newcomers and should once again be a contender for district titles on both the boys and girls sides.

SPOTSYLVANIA

Coach: Jennifer Canning

COMMONWEALTH DISTRICT ALBEMARLE

Coach: Jake Shrum Last year: Boys--First in district. Girls--Second in district.
