STAFFORD COUNTY U.S. 17 at I-95 On Tuesday night, motorists traveling north on U.S. 17 will be intermittently stopped for not more than 15 minutes between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. at the I-95 interchange in Stafford County. Crews will be replacing the bridge beam over the northbound lanes of U.S. 17. IN addition, the ramps from I-95 north to U.S. 17 north and from U.S. 17 north to I-95 south at Exit 133 (U.S. 17/Falmouth) will be closed while the beam is being replaced. All travel lanes on the interstate will be open to traffic. Sunday-Thursday, 8 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on U.S. 17 at the I-95 interchange. Crews are repairing the structural beams on the I-95 bridge over U.S. 17. Expect brief delays. SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY Interstate 95 Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; motorists should be alert to crews working along the shoulder on I-95 north between Exit 118 (State Route 606/Thornburg) and Exit 126 (U.S. 1/Spotsylvania). One lane will be closed to traffic. U.S. 1 at Hudgins Road Monday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on U.S. 1 north at Hudgins Road. Crews will be installing traffic signal detectors in the left turn lane. State Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue) Motorists should be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder of Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue. This is in connection with the project to expand Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue from two to four lanes between State Route 3 and the entrance to Central Park. Estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011. State Route 608 bridge over Interstate 95 Construction continues on the Route 608 bridge over I-95. Motorists should be alert to construction crews, equipment and traffic-pattern changes in this area. KING GEORGE COUNTY Harry Nice Memorial Bridge (U.S. 301) Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge. Trucks more than 11 feet wide will not be allowed to cross the bridge during work hours.
